We run a privacy site, so we try to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Email address, only if you choose to join our email list or email us.
- Basic technical data that our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address and browser type. [TODO: note any analytics tool if one is added.]
- Affiliate click data: when you click an affiliate link, the partner or affiliate network may set cookies to credit the referral. Their own privacy policies govern that.
How we use it
- To send the emails you asked for. We use double opt-in, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To reply to messages.
- To keep the site running and secure.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your personal information. (A privacy site that became a data broker would be a bit much.)
Your choices
Unsubscribe anytime using the link in any email. To ask us to access or delete your information, email [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws.
Children
This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the date above.
